new drying techniques

I typically air dry my florals for that beautiful vintage aged look. The flowers tend to close slightly and through the process change colour. Some times lightening or darkening.

Recently I have been using another natural process which retains their shape and colour. Giving the appearance of fresh flowers, when actually they are 100% dried.

They are slightly more delicate giving a tissue paper like quality. But look almost the same as before the process.

My new wreath 'The Joys of Spring' incorporates Anemones, Garden Roses, Statice and Lisianthus using this process. For those of you that love an untouched, vibrant look.
